Storm Clouds

WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS

Looking through this glass I see

Right through your hypocrisy

Your eyes may tell a story but your actions tell another

Go out and have a drink

Don’t you ever stop and think

Your innocence screams out and pleads

Desires beg to differ

I knew you before you used to walk on water

Now you’re drowning faster than I can save you

You’re sinking deeper than I can put my hand out and reach

And I would if I could

But now you’re six feet under

And as you crawl back to me

(But I still don’t want to see)

How you’re throwing

(Throwing your life away)

It seems like every day

(You continue to)

Construct your own cage

Self-inflicted

Put together

Piece by piece

Piece by piece

Now it keeps me up at night

To know you’re not alright

Alright

Alright

I knew you before you used to walk on water

Now you’re drowning faster than I can save you

You’re sinking deeper than I can put my hand out and reach

And I would if I could

But now you’re six feet under

Let’s GO! (Breakdown)

You chose your own way

When you fell from grace

I’m sorry but I cannot clear your slate

You chose your own way

When you fell from grace

I’m sorry but I cannot clear your slate

When I see you again will I reconcile with a friend

Or just a stranger I’ve never even met?  (x4)

Now it keeps me up at night

To know you’re not alright

Alright

Alright
