FALLING APART

These days
These days

These days, they all just feel same
Reminiscing on my most hated days
I miss now that they’ve gone away

Ancient relics of the past
Shine brighter than the brightest gold
But nothing pure can ever last

I’m falling apart, I’m coming undone at the seams
I close my eyes, I keep them shut so I don’t see
my life passing me by

I don’t know who I am anymore
A missing part, I lost the man I was before
But I will find him again

I’ll change my ways
I’ll learn now to adapt
To this new world, new environment
Only the strongest will survive

I will survive
Amidst the chaos
Bloodied but not yet broken
I will survive the wilderness you placed in front of me
that has caused this wreck

I’m falling apart, I’m coming undone at the seams
I close my eyes, I keep them shut so I don’t see
my life passing me by

I don’t know who I am anymore
A missing part, I lost the man I was before
But I will find him again

These days, they all just feel same
Reminiscing on my most hated days
I miss now that they’ve gone away
Away

These days, I’ve all but lost my flame
This life holds time I cannot claim
So is this my apocalypse
Won’t let it be the catastrophe
That ends me

I’m falling apart, I’m coming undone at the seams
I close my eyes, I keep them shut so I don’t see
my life passing me by

I don’t know who I am anymore
A missing part, I lost the man I was before
But I will find him again
